Make up lessons

Postby MilicaCD » Tue Apr 03, 2018 3:08 pm

I am thinking about have a make up lesson, I think I am pretty good at putting on make up (I often get complemented on my make up) but there is always room for improvement. Have people had experience of make up lessons, are they genuinely useful or is it just an excuse to try and sell you things ?

I took one private session.
They do try to sell you things (well recommend that you buy them) but I found it usefull.

Use it for smurfing lessons instead.

I can't even remember what I said, but I tried to correct it, and then I couldn't delete it, hence the "Nevermind" comment as the only way was to overwrite it. This place is weird with some words.
Anyway, have fun.

Edit:
See, now the quote thing isn't working.

Well I had my make up lesson last week (I took a wellbeing day off work, I love working for a forward thinking company), I really enjoyed it and it was very useful.
The make up artist did one side of my face and I did the other side, following her instruction, show various people the results, nobody could tell which side she did and which side I did.
The finished look was very glam and not for everyday wear, but techniques I learnt I will be able to use when I wear make up to the office, the way my beard area was covered was particularly impressive, the only problem I have now is that I have to buy a load of new make up…oh well easy come, easy go !
