What clothes are you wearing at work?

Postby BillBailey » Thu Jul 20, 2006 3:12 pm

As there is a lot of talk about relaxing clothing standards at work during this seasonal hot weather I was just wondering what everyone was wearing to work? Just to see if dress codes are as bad as they are making out?

To kick it off, I'm wearing a light blue shirt, lightweight black trousers, no underwear and black leather shoes.

Am a bartender in a big hotel so always a uniform . Mostly a penguin suit : black tie , vest and pants with a white blouse .

To break the monotony will at least once a week wear either the cocktail waitress dress that is black & a low cut , very tight , hem above the knee or the red and blue striped shirt and navy blue skirt that are part of the desk clerks uniform , or when I want to have fun or make more money the old cocktail waitress dress that is a gold vest , white nehru shirt , red tie , and faux leather black mimi .
Alive in spite of myself and looking at the world .........

Polo shirt and khaki's with semi-dress shoes monday through thursday, and t-shirts (usually black), jeans (always black), and sneakers (black) on fridays.

Trying to find some semi-dressy closed toe fishermans for mon-thur. Having the damndest time finding something that I like though. lol (am also moving to "nicer" polos and to some button front short sleeves as well, to "kick it up a notch")

I would second the Dorothy Perkins mention. Good prices and decent quality.
