all answer was good... Cotton is the best option for hot weather... Cotton is most comfortable, reliable & eco-friendly type of cloth
real silk or chiffon, I think it is the best material in hot weather.
Have to agree with most posts cotton is best keep you cool and relaxed
What you think about the blended fabric? Just ordered 3 v-neck tees from calibreapparel - half polyester & half cotton. I'm in Los Angeles so it feels good and breathable.
Hi, ladies. To stay cool in 100 degrees whether you should have breathable summer fabrics. Cotton is perfect for all climates, which is why it’s widely worn and loved. Wear this in dry heat or humidity, too. Chambry is cotton too, it will keep you cool in dry heat & humidity. Rayon is best in dry heat. Since it’s still not a natural fiber, it won’t wick away moisture as well as cotton. Linen was made from the heat. Linen textiles are some of the oldest in the world...people have been wearing it for centuries, and for good reason. Blends are Synthetic fabrics are known for detracting moisture so they’re great in humid climates.
For the summer in hot weather, you should consider the pair of shoes which gives your foot comfort. Cotton, denim material shoes best choice there. don't think about leather shoes by that you are going to fry you foots, I tried some shoes this summer from Ugg Boots For all and they are good enough in protecting me from heat, one more suggestion should be considered in this situation choose a lighter shade shoe which absorbers less heat.
One thing not to wear is wool. I have been wearing woollen dresses/skirts and cardigans as part of my dress discipline and it has been very uncomfortable as well as making me appear frumpy and dowdy.
Wool is not for summer, it may harm your skin if you wear in high temperatures.

Unfortunately I am deservedly wearing wool dresses and cardigans as part of a punishment. The discomfort of wearing wool in the hot weather together with the humiliating appearence is therefore all part of my penance.
Go for linen of cotton. You can use the casual and comfortable linen sundresses and tops.
When it is hot, the best thing to wear is nothing. Just remember to use sunscreen.
Cotton allows better air circulation, which helps in absorbing and removing body moisture caused by sweat. It therefore minimizes fungal breeding by keeping your body dry and cool. Cotton is light in weight and in colour unless it is dyed. Being light-coloured will help the light to pass through instead of being absorbed and hence we will not feel the heat as much. If you wear loose clothes instead of tight fitting clothes, there will be ample of space for the air to pass through
