Bonjour Elorac,

My best friends mother had a very cranky car that didn't like to start and would die often. I can remember so many times where I had a front row seat to cranking. I think that created an interest for me now. I look forward to hearing from you all! If you ever want to hear about a cranking story let me know.

Hey Eddie, I am a child of the 60's and 70's and know what you mean.. It would be great to talk with you, but I see that this post is rather old so it may not be realistic to get in touch. In any event, I hope those of us who do share this can make connections with others because I know it makes for a better day!

Yes although less than previously. A new story might help! :-)

I have an old story from my late teens.

Thanks for your post. You really captured much of the experience in your description, despite its brevity. much appreciated! : )

Yes, I did flatten the battery on my 2cv a few times already because I like the cranking sound when the battery is getting weak ! It is a real turn on for me
I think it was flooded completely !

Hi Nathalie,

I know you posted many years ago. I can definitely relate to your comment about liking the way the cranking sounds as the battery gets weaker! >:)
