Unfortunately, when I was 17 I hit a cat. I was driving a motorcycle, it was night, and it came out of nowhere. I felt so bad but it was alive so that was a consolation at least. I've always been a safe driver, so haven't really experienced anything serious.

Was in London recently and it seems the bus drivers have no such worries. They probably compete to see who can "get" the most pedestrians.

I had a pigeon commit suicide on the front of my little MG recently ... but as it was flying at the time I don't think that was technically "running it over", was it?

The only thing I've definitely run over was on my bicycle, when I was 13, and a crow tried to fly across just in front of me and didn't make it. Both wheels went over it, and I felt nauseous for a long time after.

I agree Becky. I always assumed running over something means that my wheels roll over it.

The pigeon or the MGF?
Sure God created man before woman. But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece.

My little MG always keeps ALL of its wheels on the ground!

Recently I’ve been involved in two incidents where I’ve hit a pedestrian.

Has anyone ever had a pedestrian walk out in front of you. This is basically what happened to me.

A couple of years ago I almost hit a kid while driving to work, he jumped out between two parked cars but luckily I could stop just in time.
I was not driving to fast but since then I inentionally slow down a little bit more than neccessary when passing this area.

Wow that’s a close call. What happened to me was very similar however did not end as well as yours.
