Do The Good Die Young?

Postby himerus » Wed Apr 24, 2019 6:26 am

Do the good die young or is it that there was no time for them to be found out?

Ha! Possibly.

The truth is, the Grim Reaper doesn't care a toss about the worthiness of his victims. Anybody can die young.

Certainly, every school pupil who meets an early demise is always said to be a fine student with the world at their feet rather than a spotty little fecker the teacher couldn't pick out in a line up.

No. But people don't like to say bad things about them.

The young May die, the old must die and the wisest of us knoweth not how soon. The youngest apprentice that works on the chequered pavement below ever dwells in the shadow of death and the invisible hand extends even over King Solomon on his ivory throne. None can escape their inexorable doom. We walk upon the ashes of generations who have gone the way before us, to which our ashes must in turn contribute, and our bodies crumble into dust. The very air we breathe is but the sighing of spirits once mortal, now clothed in immortality.

Do the good die young?
You must be a bad boy then.....
Sure God created man before woman. But then you always make a rough draft before the final masterpiece.
