Jobs a woman or man can't do

Postby C.G. » Wed Apr 15, 2015 6:58 pm

Do you think there are any nowadays? And if so, what, and why?

MotoGP rider as they lack the physical strength to ride the bikes at the top level. Probably most jobs can be done by both sexes but there are many jobs where it probably isn't likely that many of either sex would seriously do. Fireman is one. There was a case of a lady of 5ft who applied to be one and was accepted under equality rules but realistically it was stupid since she couldn't have carried anyone from a burning building, couldn't reach most of the stuff on the appliance and in a grown up world would have been told not to be so stupid in the first place.

Kingy may correct me on this but I think he has said that the majority of women aren't strong enough to do the job in the area he supervises. Mind you, nowadays, with women who work out and go to the gym, ya do get some strong birds. I think I am quite strong in certain things.

Agreed but they have to work at it where most blokes probably don't to do the job. I might be wrong but I don't think females can achieve the same muscle mass as blokes even if they are the same size. At college I had to help my friend with metal work as she couldn't make the guillotine cut.

There's one thing a woman definitely cannot do. Get a job as a sperm doner. :lol:

There is no job that a man can do that a woman can't. Whether they do some of them as well is another matter for debate. If you think in purely sporting terms, then men are faster and stronger. This is a fact that no feminist, no matter how ardent she is, can argue against.

What can’t men do? How about:

put the toilet seat down;

ask for directions;

call a repairman;

pick up feminine products for their wives without blushing or complaining or pretending they forgot;

put things back where they came from;

fold and put away laundry in the correct place;

pretend (convincingly) that they don't notice an attractive girl;

admit they don't know why the car is making that funny noise;

admit that they are getting older and yes their hair is thinning;

multi-task.

I think there are always exceptions to every rule in this regard, unless of course it directly involves ones genitals.
I'm an average female and I have to work a lot harder, and strain myself a lot more to do something simple like chop firewood, whereas a man can do the same with far less effort, but then I can fix my washing machine when it breaks down, which is typical male territory, or bleed my lawn mower when one of my genius children fills the petrol tank with water just as easily as the next bloke and i'm sure most men could easily do most typically female jobs they'd just prefer not to.
Im a girl.

I would agree with that - mind you, when it comes to lawn mowers, I would rather leave them alone, although, given my experiences with cars, I could probably fix one if something was wrong with it.

I get told quite often that I must be 'really strong to drive buses, especially the big ones'! I don't physically pull the bus round the route lol. Power steering and all that.
