Re: Common Sense

The current government of the USA and the ruling elites overlook the anarchist violence perpetrated in many of America's most "progressive" cities. Rather than stop this violence, the elites enact laws releasing criminals without bail. Next, the elites "de-fund" police reducing the number of officer...

Re: Coronavirus Survival Tips, Rumours and Hearsay

To me, if people believe masks prevent personal contagion and wish to wear one, fine by me. However, based upon what I've read published by manufacturers of air purification systems, a cotton or paper filter is just too porous to be effective against a virus. So I remain skeptical and only wear a ma...

As an American, I've lost confidence in the ruling classes. My confidence has been eroding for some time. Yesterday President* Biden states that we must borrow (print) another $2,5 trillion for "infrastructure". In the future, so I'm told, I will be able to travel by high speed rail at 600-mph. Bett...

Re: Coronavirus Survival Tips, Rumours and Hearsay

Historically, this is how science worked. One proposes a hypothesis, (an explanation). An experiment (observations) is designed to test the hypothesis. And the results are statistically interpreted to either support or disprove the hypothesis. Today, leftist politics have altered this historical sys...

With regards to the c19 virus, science has gone political and hence is mostly useless now.

I suggest looking at companies that sell air purification equipment. The commonly used paper and fabric masks are ineffective with viruses. Its like erecting a picket fence to keep mosquitoes out.

Particulates and molecules in the air move randomly and in time reach a homogeneous mixture in any confined space. If you think masking is useful, use one. But the drive through window might be the better option if you are truly fearful.

Frankly I'd rather watch a 24-episode series on the "Black Death" than any of the programs suggested here.

As far as "NEWS" goes, Mark Twain said it best; "If you don't read the newspapers you are uninformed. If you do read them you are misinformed."

Simple, Communism will always fail because it is counter to human nature. If the "hard worker" receives the same as the "lazy", performance declines and poverty results. The original "Mayflower Compact" pilgrims learned this lesson the hard way.

I've read a virus is between 0.06 and 0.14-microns. And the most severe mask has a pore size of 0.3-microns. If true, masking has no benefit but can cause only harm; bad breath, gum disease, a stressed immune system due to lower blood oxygen levels and potentially bacterial infection. My advice to t...

Actually, Trump is polling similar if not better than past presidents. Popular vote totals are meaningless. For example, Trump essentially never campaigned in California because he had no chance of winning the state's electoral college delegates. If we had a simple, popular vote, the campaigns world...

Two points; one, when you call a person derogatory names, you've lost the debate. Two, President Trump passed a cognitive acuity test as part of his 2020 medical exam. So far Biden hasn't. Seems we two may differ as to policy preferences only.

So Brian Williams, news anchor for NBC, embellished (lied about) some news stories. Should we be surprised? Consider. Good journalism is hard. To report the facts of “what happened” without input from the biases of personal opinion is, I think, truly difficult. And once a newsman or news organizatio...
