Re: Extinct Rebellion

The Extinct Rebellion don't seem to have any concrete plans or proposals about what should be done about climate change. When interviewed, they make some vague mutterings about that "something must be done!" but then quickly turn it into an argument about blaming the government. At the mo...

Re: FB bans far right groups

These far right activists are sinister. They make me feel queazy . They no longer bother to hide their cruelty to those they hate/disagree with and their disdain and disregard for everyone else. Watch out for their bootboy antics becoming more prevalent. There appear to be poorly reported incidents ...

Re: Extinct Rebellion

Why target public transport? :? I don't think it's really about climate change. It's an anti-capitalist rally in a poor disguise. This is true, but for those committed to “the cause”, nothing governments do will ever be enough. They would rather have us all living in Stone Age communities eating ba...

Re: Extinct Rebellion

This movement means well and the growth of awareness for the for big change needs to start somewhere. I fear that the lunatic fringe will hijack and capsize the message by thoroughly discrediting its honourable motives through violence and unrest.

Re: Extinct Rebellion

It is time to capture the hearts and minds of the population regarding ,what is for everyone, the issue of the whole future. I’m not sure that this is how it starts though. Remember, there Is a cohort of fringe extremists , Green, rainbow alliance, animal rights , veggies who have taken protest to a...

Re: Assange

Everything about this man screams “oddity” but, there are plenty of those in the world. My schema of Julian Assange is as follows: We are being asked to believe by various authorities that he is a serious sex offender and that he has deliberately leaked ultra sensitive information on his internation...

Re: Ratty update

I have stopped them getting onto the bird table which seems to have reduced their interest. I do have a friend with a terrier with proven expertise in this field but I hope to avoid further bloodshed. They will spread out in the new territory looking for food and new quarters. Gotta remember it's a...

Re: Ratty update

A dramatic development today. Ratty appeared for the first time in days and the magpie was on him straight away. He pecked and pecked and Ratty seemed to have no response other than to try to get away but the magpie kept pulling him back by his tail. It was awful to see. Ratty was killed. An intere...

Re: Ratty update

There has been a positive development. It turns out that magpies do not like them. The local magpie spotted one and attacked it with determination, getting in a dozen painful looking pecks. It chased it all the way out of the garden and so far they haven't been back. Magpies are cruel killers..all ...
