No not Jeremy Corbyn, but that bastion of socialism The International Monetary Fund.
We don't have to be unequal, it doesn't have to be unfair, poverty isn't inevitable, things can and they will change

Good luck with that. It’s those in the middle that fare worst.

The rich get accountants, the poor get benefits. Guess who pays?

I never agree with the rich people paying more tax. Why aspire to earn big wages just to lose half in tax? And by earning more, they pay more anyway. Also, if it were the same or perhaps 20% more would actually pay it than would try and get out of it.

I agree with income tax but was stunned to find out that if you were wealthy it’s payment was optional. Everybody who is assigned to pay must pay.

It's optional for the very rich.

Over here the tax rate for the rich is a lower effective percentage than poorer folk. It would be nice if they had to pay the same percentage, but they're the ones who can pay for lobbyists.

It will be interesting to see if history will come to judge Cameron as harshly as Blair.

Because all too often the poorly paid have to manage with what they are given. At the top it's a club, you pretty much award yourself what you fancy. That's why many people since 2010 have been lucky if they got a 1% rise per year, but in many cases executive pay has risen year on year by 20% or so. Nobody is worth 100-200+ times what their poorest employees earn, but they get it because they can.

That's what for the many, not the few, is about.

It will. In the case of Blair it's about a lack of morality, he became the leader of The Labour Party, then ditched pretty much everything the party stood for and embraced Thatcherism. That would have been bad enough, but then he dragged us into Bushs' Iraq oil grab.

In Cameron's case it's just stupidity, he bet our future on a referendum that was purely about internal Tory Party politics and lost. Now we can't get out of it, but he has. Ultimately it will depend on how disastrous Brexit turns out to be, if it ends badly as i suspect it will, yes history will.
