Well as always the high earners at the top, and most probably those deemed to be working directly on government owned projects. At the other end of t...

Re: Virgin Trains

I'm puzzled by the timing of this. I mean The Daily Mail has always been a nasty poisonous little rag, right back to the "Hurrah for the Blackshirts" days, so why now? I suspect this is just a bit of PC posturing by the beardy one.

Re: Anti-virus problems

Re: AntiVirus software, back in the days when I used Windows I ran Avira Antivir, which seemed to do the job. No operating system is 100% secure, but I've been using Linux without an Antivirus for years without any problem, the vast majority of computer nasties are Windows .exe files and they mean n...

What he Tweeted was "Reason I canceled my trip to London is that I am not a big fan of the Obama Administration having sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for "peanuts," only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars. Bad deal." Unfortun...

Re: Smart meters

I had one fitted for electricity, but the monitor keeps losing contact with the meter. It works for couple of days, then packs up and needs to be rebooted.

Re: Deleting Tweets

I'm not on Twitter. The problem of course is that it provides an instant platform for anyone who has had a few too many sherbets or is a bigoted clown with a silly haircut to sound off. Trump and Kim Jong Un firing off Tweets like two immature schoolboys is frightening, especially as unlike schoolbo...

A very common one that. I'm not too bad, but I've certainly found myself checking stuff despite knowing full well I don't need to.

Re: Odd habits

An odd one which I can't begin to explain, but I don't like things pointing at me. So if there's a pencil on the desk which is pointing at me I will turn it round. Likewise a knife on the table.
